This page describes what the participant experiences while taking a survey using dtect.
How Language is Determined
The participant's browser language determines which welcome page the participant receives when entering dtect. If the participant's language is set to Spanish it will show the landing page and hCaptcha in Spanish.
Supported Languages
Currently, dtect is translated into the following languages for participants:
- English (en)
- Portuguese (pt)
- French (fr)
- Japanese (ja)
- Chinese (Mandarin) (zh)
- Arabic (ar)
- German (de)
- Spanish (es)
- Hindi (hi)
- Thai (th)
- Indonesian (id)
- Vietnamese (vi)
- Italian (it)
- Dutch (nl)
- Korean (ko)
- Malay (ms)
- Cantonese (yue)
Non-Supported Languages
If the participant's language is one that is not supported, it will show the intro text in English.
