dtect's Quality Settings are a critical component of its security process, designed to ensure the integrity and quality of survey responses by weeding out fraudulent participants. These settings incorporate a series of knowledge-based questions, including three single-select questions and one open-end question, which collectively help to verify the authenticity of respondents.
Quality Settings
First, select your "Audience type(s)". The audience type is the type of participant you're looking for in your survey. We have the following types available:
Accountant
Accounts Payable Manager
Accounts Receivable Manager
Brand Manager
Business Administrator
Director of Operations
Finance Director
General B2B Blue Collar
General B2B White Collar
General Consumer Europe
General Consumer North America
General Consumer South America
Graphic Designer
HR Director
IT Manager
Lawyer
Marketing Manager/Director
Mechanic
Network Engineer
Paralegal
Project Manager
Sales Representative
Small Business Owner
Social Media Manager
Software Engineer
Web Developer
Prescreener Settings
After selecting your "Audience type(s)", choose whether to show participants the 3 single choice questions, an open-ended question to detect AI usage, or both.
If both the open ended and single select questions are shown to participants, their order will be randomized to prevent fraudulent participants from learning the order or content of questions.
Questions Answered Correctly to Qualify
Finally, select how many of the single choice questions are required to get correctly to proceed. If the slider is set all the way to the right (3), it requires participants to get all 3 questions correct while all the way to the left (1) requires just 1 question to be correct.
